Job Responsibilities

Assist

Assist with planning and administering budgets for equipment and supplies. Aid and assist in the placement and startup of new and/or used equipment.

Oversee

Oversee construction and renovation projects to improve efficiency and to ensure that facilities meet environmental, health, and security standards, and comply with government regulations. Oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems.

Develop

Develop and maintain a formal preventative maintenance program for plant equipment. Develop and maintain an inventory of spare parts and necessary sundries.

Critical Thinking

Work closely with the various department managers and supervisors to establish priorities of work to be done.

Management

Supervise and monitor performance of maintenance department members and housekeeping department members on all shifts.

Quality Assurance

Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained.

Job Requirements

Education

High School Diploma or GED required.

Vision

Requires normal vision, hearing, and speech range.

Safety

Steel-toed shoes and safety glasses required while performing duties in production areas.

Data Entry

Some computer literacy and data entry knowledge.

Physical Demands

Requires the use of office equipment, such as computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, printers, facsimiles, and copiers.

Knowledge

Knowledge of machinery and repair and maintenance required.
