Job Responsibilities

Technical

Participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the hardware/software infrastructure of the organization.

Maintenance

Research

Research and propose upgrades to the infrastructures hardware and software to ensure advanced security and efficiency using up-to-date standards.

Network

Provides assistance to resolve computer network, hardware and software problems.

Planning

Responsible for the planning and coordination of contractor activities during onsite visits.

Performance

Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.

Job Requirements

Physical Demands

Requires the use of office equipment, such as computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, and copiers. Requires normal vision, hearing, and speech range. Prolonged sitting. Some local travel to sister companies required.

Education & Experience

Requires Bachelors/Associates degree in an IT related major, technical certification or relevant work experience. 2+ years related IT experience.

Qualifications

Working knowledge of Manufacturing Concepts. Steel-toed shoes and safety glasses required while performing duties in production areas. Maintain organized schedules and filing.
