This person will be required to conduct inspections / tests to determine quality of raw materials, in process and finished products.

Interpret inspection/ test results, supplier certifications. Compare them to established specifications.
Perform visual and mechanical inspections of finished products.
Compile test data and perform appropriate analyses.
Calibrate, validate, or maintain inspection equipment.
Perform Shipping Audits.
Participate in out-of-specification and failure investigations and recommend root cause and corrective actions.
Supply quality control data necessary for customer submissions.
Inspect parts that are received from Subcontractors.
Investigate or report questionable test results.
Perform Gage R&R studies.
Perform statistical analysis using tools such as histograms, control charts and other indexes such as CPK.
Must be able to read part drawings.
Other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED and previous work-related skill, knowledge or experience is required. Quality related degree preferred.
Steel-toed shoes and safety glasses required while performing duties in production areas.
Some computer literacy and data entry knowledge.
Maintain organized schedules and filing.

Requires prolonged standing, stooping, bending, and stretching. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds continuously throughout an eight (8) hour shift and 50 pounds occasionally. Requires good hand-eye coordination and good manual dexterity. Normal hearing and vision range required.
